Sustainable sneakers NoTime are manufactured using premium materials to offer consumers a durable alternative to ordinary shoes. The most striking material of this handmade product, which comes to life in fair and safe working conditions, is recycled tennis balls. The other materials used include microplastics, organic cotton, natural rubber and hemp.
The product, created by a startup in Spain that adheres to sustainable living and acts with the dream of changing the world, has a vegan profile. The startup is collaborating with the A LA PAR Foundation to add a social advantage to shoes that consumers can feel good about. A LA PAR Foundation is an organization that works for the rights of these individuals and supports them to overcome the obstacles they face. NoTime allocates 20% of its income through this collaboration to support individuals with mental disabilities who also participate in the design process.
“Our aim was to design a minimal, unisex and timeless sneaker for those who live an ethical and environmentally conscious lifestyle. Our sneakers are vegan, comfortable and lightweight. Also, it is important to us that everyone involved receives a fair wage, has a comfortable working environment and good working hours. We refuse to reduce costs by contributing to labour exploitation in other countries.” the startup says.
No Time has successfully raised 21,708 dollars on Kickstarter to bring the project to life. You can check the Kickstarter page to take a detailed look at the project.
